Who: All the good little anti-entropy engine girls and boys and others
Where: On the way back towards the dorms
When: Day 258, evening, so very shortly after Good Ends
What:
[As the festivities end and it’s time to head back to dorms, there seems to hang an uneasy feeling that has nothing to do with bittersweet goodbyes. The particularly astute may notice an uncomfortable stillness about; not a living thing is out and active, save the Blanks. Even the river seems stilled, as if holding its breath. The more sensitive can probably feel it coming, whatever it is. Even the insensitive may find something about the walk home distasteful.]

Re: [Everywhere]
...You understand... I was more or less hoping to have this conversation with someone who had a bit more of an ambiguous relationship with my brother, for relevant advice, but...
Re: [Everywhere]
But you'll take what you can get?
Re: [Everywhere]
[can I just. Take a seat on your coffin or somewhere.]
Re: [Everywhere]
I'll give what I can.
So what's Rolo's problem?
Re: [Everywhere]
I'm not... very good with feelings? You know that, I think. With how people mean them, or with expressing that myself. After a point I really don't know how to react. And there's a situation that I really... don't know... I don't know what to do. About Brother.
Re: [Everywhere]
Re: [Everywhere]
...
Brother and I have been flirting since I got here, and kissing in games, but there have been... rules... we never broke. Nothing outside games. Ah, after you two fought, he broke that rule and kissed me very, very thoroughly. Even though the game was over and he'd never picked me in it. It was ...nice... and when I went to talk to him about his... new situation, we almost did it again, but Sunny interrupted. Brother told me he'd see me later.
So I waited, and I -- suppose I got carried away... in what it might mean for me... but when he came to visit he told me we can't. We can't anymore.
But he kept flirting, even though we can't.
Re: [Everywhere]
Re: [Everywhere]
If Brother wanted to stop on his own, he would go cold. He's perfectly capable of it. This just means he still wants to. I don't understand any of it.

Re: [Everywhere]
Kitten isn't going to hate you forever. Have a little faith in yourself.
Re: [Everywhere]
I don't have enough to risk the things I have just because I want more.
Re: [Everywhere]
If you don't want to push Kitten's lines, then lay down your own. Just as you can do much without really doing anything, you can also just truly do nothing. Kitten isn't stupid, he'll figure it out.
Re: [Everywhere]
I don't understand...
Re: [Everywhere]
Re: [Everywhere]
...I may be greedy too.
Re: [Everywhere]
[sits back]
Re: [Everywhere]
If he's going to offer me anything, I can't just reject it...
