[Watanuki would be a pretty damn competent dreamwalker ... if he had all of the relevant memories back. As it is, he has the power required but not the control. Which means that his forays into the dreamworld lead to a big fat interconnected mess of unconscious psyche.

[Welcome to a mirror maze~. IT IS SEVERAL KINDS OF SUPER CREEPY.

Some are whole, some are cracked. Some are shattered but still holding together. The whole place is flooded; water is ankle-high and churning gently. There's broken glass, too, all over the floor, and sharp edges are everywhere (though they're not always visible). Some are flecked with blood.]

[ITT you are in a funhouse mirror maze. Many of the reflections are distorted and disfigured; extra arms or eyes, or perhaps too few or even none at all. The few that do look normal certainly don't match your expression. There's too much malice and cold calculation hidden in their smiles for them to truly be yours.]

An entire artificial landscape has been terraformed down here, from an artificial sea to an artificial bright sky with mechanical constellations whirring about in them, even though it looks like "daytime". Albert stands on the edge of a large, stable ship moored on the shore, looking out at the water. Somehow there's even a breeze here, and a vista of cliffs in the background.]

[it's a large, unimportant room, but the important thing is in the center: a table full of various puzzle pieces, hundreds, maybe even thousands. There's familiar places depicted in some - the Arena, Bunnycorn dorms, and in others there's unfamiliar buildings and streets. Off to the side are two piles deliberately put there - one that's entirely blank, and another with splashes of white here and there. Scattered pieces have been fitted together and rest all over the table.

And "Quartz" sits in the middle of the table, fitting each piece together one by one on the part of the puzzle he's working on]

[The first part of this dream is sound.

It circles and envelops like a warm blanket on a cool morning, familiar and comforting. The deep bass rumble of great weights turning, the treble of metal teeth meeting and parting, the delicate alto trickle of falling liquid. Weaving through it all, a single soprano voice, the notes it sings holding fleeting glimpses of a vast sky.

Images come almost as an afterthought. Gears upon gears upon gears, each turning in its own steady rhythm, part of a complex so vast neither top nor bottom can be seen. Weaving between the gears are walkways of rough cave bedrock, trickles of dark water flowing under and between them, catching on gears that might be waterwheels, turned by the water and turning the water itself, lifting it to new ledges and pathways.

In the centre of it all, Kururu is curled up on a wide, almost medical chair, wires and cords seeming to come right out of her skin, travelling up into the machinery above. While obviously the source of the voice, she's not singing; instead, she's holding a tired peacock, gently preening its feathers as it rests its head against her arm.]

[holy crap. finds himself sitting next to the chair, staring up at the scenery around him. or well, he stares at first, and quickly closes his eyes just to listen.]

[At first glance, it looks like a library. The building itself seems to match the Sabra style, as well as the furniture, but there's things that are off. Some are on, but despite the screens being bright themselves, it doesn't do much to brighten the room beyond a few feet in front of the computer screen. Should you look at the screen, there will be various bits of information on ghosts, Judges, and games.]

[Extending from the computer are wires, attached to various machines. Should someone know the idea would be 'science lab,' but anything with a monitor was blank even with the lights on. There are even some pods that look like a person could fit inside, but nothing can be seen inside.]

[More than that, everything is dark and quiet. Unnaturally quiet, without even the hum of the power going to the computers.]

[In front of one of the computers is Razzy. However, the screen only has one thing on it, the logo that's on the outfit of her ghost form.]

[welcome to Chez Dean. which is basically some random cheap-ass motel that looks like it was decorated in the 60s with horrible color combinations and decor that reflects or looks fake as hell. out the window in an interesting view of pitch dark but if you squint a bit, there may just be something moving in the dark.

overall, it seems pretty cozy and not too bad if you ignore the old cigarette burns in the mattresses and stains on the walls and ceiling. what may just be kind of hard to ignore is the arsenal of weapons Dean is working his way through cleaning.

There are little snacks and cookies on a table with some tea, and the air is just the right balance between cool and warm—it's also the freshest it has ever been. IN CONCLUSION, THIS IS A NICE PLACE.

[Mitsuru does not seem to notice. He is kneeling in front of the dorm, staff in one hand, a misshapen man of yellow clay before him. The legs have been hacked away at, chunks cut from the hips and thighs and knees; the golem lists to one side, looking as though a single blow will knock it down.]

[The boy scoops yellow clay from a bucket with his free hand- smooths it into the gaps and watches as it drips, oddly liquid, to the cave floor. When it has fallen, the spaces left behind have been worn away just a little further.]
