(no subject)

Who: Ophiuchus
Where: Ophi dorms.
When: Day 102, afternoon/eveningish.
What: Chillin' in the dorms

[At some point in the afternoon, you might spy a rather odd-looking fish floating around in midair. Its scales appear to be made out of delicate, two-toned glass that shift colors depending on how you look at it.

If you stare at it long enough, it floats over and stares back.]

(( IC sign-ups for the Mirror game on Saturday! If you can't (or don't want to) thread, you can just assume that Mirror caught your Ophi character at some point and asked them to help out. More OOC info will go up on Saturday as well. ))

Harsh. Isn't it more that I know my place? I'd rather be somewhere I can know firsthand what's going on with the Blanks then waiting underground.

[laughs]

Better. Would you like more details?

A minor, non-painful physical change, to be in effect for roughly forty-eight hours.

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
A-and there's boxes too. And maybe some things you could help them with...

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Help is good. Physical change, huh?... Boxes like my weapons?

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
No, there's boxes with things in them, and you carry them out to places s-so they can be opened.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds interesting. Will there be more detail at the game?

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Naturally. It should be very simple.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm... are you sure there's not two of you?

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[twitches a fin]

It's just me, it's just me!

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:06 pm (UTC)(link)
. . .[p-pats the fish]

Okay, it's just you.

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Just me and her and me...

[curls around his hand a little]

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
You mentioned a missing piece, for this game, and for the others I've seen. What is it a piece of?

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
[rotates slowly, until she's completely upside-down]

Mmm-hmm.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Missing pieces... what kinds of pieces? You're not missing any fins.

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[continues to turn. as she does so, cracks slowly appear between the scales, which peel up and back away from the body of the fish.]

Th-this is easier...

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Aah... that looks like it hurts.

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
They do. You shouldn't touch them, I th-think.

[the scales are terribly sharp-looking. a few of them slide back into place, followed by a few more.]

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I meant it looks like it hurts you.

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
... mmm. They're s-sharp. They don't stop hurting until the edges are gone.

[continues pulling them back into place, until the fish is relatively whole again]

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Does getting the pieces back help the edges?

[identity profile] mirror_mirrors.insanejournal.com 2010-01-28 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[tilts]

Something that is whole has no sharp edges.
