Because otherwise it is disrupting. Coordinating the use of a kitchen this size to feed as many people as Ophiuchus has requires efficiency, meaning the fewer people in here the better.

What if we're really, REALLY quiet?

It isn't the noise, it is that you become a physical obstacle to work around. In a kitchen it is best to be able to move straight from one point to another. You may still sit and observe so long as you are out of the way.

I already apologized! People shouldn't hold grudges like that. Especially when food is involved.

For an apology to count you must understand what you put them through, you know. It's only natural for a grudge to be held when the person apologizing behaves as if what happened wasn't serious.

Oh man, really?! That'd be totally awesome!! I would've stayed but then this cool looking beebat thing flew by and we tried to catch it! I totally forgot about food for a while, aha.
