Sounds good. [pat on the back]

[b-blinks a little]

You're not mad?

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 10:26 am (UTC)(link)
W-well, I assumed that if you know about Slick canceling the deal, you know what I said about your team ...

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
Said? I know he threw a fit. He had a really hard time the last game, breaking up with Allen and all. You said something?

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
So they did really break up... I said your team was evil, for starters.

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 10:55 am (UTC)(link)
[small nod]

I meant it, and I still kind of ...

[looks more nervous]

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
It's not like I expected you guys to like us. But you're the ones who ordered us. Some of us broke down just the same as some of you broke down. But we signed up for this, and so did you.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
Frankly, I think we're even, so we'll just have to disagree.

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:08 am (UTC)(link)
[winces]

We ... we did. But Lacerta never did until I made a mistake, and no one asked Lightning to do what he did.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, relax. I'm not going to hold being upset against you.

I assume your team suffered for holding back, right? So a Blank suffers for not playing a Game to win. And Ophiuchus who aren't prepared suffer too. If you're concerned with what is "evil" or "unforgivable," the grudge doesn't stop at us.

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:21 am (UTC)(link)
Playing to win made my team suffer. I don't think it's that simple.

But ... I don't think it's as simple as "evil," either. I'm just scared now.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:25 am (UTC)(link)
Well, being scared is okay. But nobody is going to hurt you.

Maa, this is pretty heavy talk for right before cooking. Try to put it out of your mind, okay?

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
... s-sorry. I was really just -- I'm trying to apologize.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:31 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah? Well... put it into the food you make for us. How's that?

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:56 am (UTC)(link)
Put it into the food? ... how?

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 11:58 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you know! [pokes the center of his chest lightly]

When you cook for someone, and you really want them to like it, it shows. Like that.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure. I remember feeling like that, anyway.

[identity profile] ghostduster.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... that's right. You're the one who remembers how to cook.

[identity profile] breaking_waves.insanejournal.com 2010-01-17 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
A lot of things. It was a big dinner, and there were a few really picky eaters. Mostly Italian and Japanese.
