Because the way I see it, we were supposed to take the jobs that were assigned to us and perform them on our own, pretty much. I dunno if that boss would have let us be there the second time, because he really seems to get off on that sort of thing. You know?

Then the first time could have been better. Maybe you only got those orders because we used them, and he only got to go out alone because the Judges wanted him to, but ... he definitely caused unnecessary suffering.

Maybe it would have. Maybe he wouldn't have listened. How do you know that we wouldn't have made it worse?

Because it couldn't have been much worse than it was.
