What: Seamonsterhunter piles and memories.

[Cetus sure needs a big ol' cuddlepile after that game. Also, memories. And Thumper is making an effort to cook (a meatless) dinner, though whether anyone is actually going to be hungry after that game is another question...]

She's not easy to break. But it is her first kill game.

[nods]

And unfortunately, won't be her last.

Just do me a favor and pace yourself on the worrying, okay? If you get this worked up after every game she's in, you won't last.

...worrying is what I do. [Conscious WAY too much.] I do it for my team all the time. Did it for Amy before she got here. Just...now I know what to worry ABOUT.

But Amy will learn to cope. But right now...it's the hardest hit, so I have to be here for her.

[nods] You're right. Just don't drive yourself crazy.

...I think if I was going to go crazy from worry, I would have by now. There are times I think I cope the best out of my team, which is kind of..weird.

It's good though. Makes you a good leader.

[Nods. Pause. Well, actually, that might be the Centurion IMPLANTED MEMORY.]

And it helps when the others get bad memories. I'm almost positive I got my worst possible memory right away and I already know about two big hitters to expect.

You're better off than me, then. I have no idea what to expect. The memories I've taken don't even feel like they're from the same lifetime.

...I imagine at some point I might start feeling like that. For a while I didn't feel like Rory, but then I just...kind of did.

[considers] I don't know. My first memory was from decades before my second, but looking back I felt significantly younger in the second. Which may have to do with time travel. Like I said, they weren't really cohesive.

Well you know The Doctor, right? He has a time machine.

I'm still trying to straighten out the tangle with timeline.

[nods] I time traveled before I ever met him, I think, but I'm fuzzy on the details.

I don't remember you or Amy though. But to be honest, this Doctor isn't quite what I remember either. The only clear thing is Rose.

...well, there are those Vortex Manipulators. So there's clearly other ways to do it. Plus all those aliens trying to kill The Doctor have to keep up.

The Impossible Face thing, right? My Doctor looks different too and I never met you or Rose.

But the TARDIS, the time travel, the same feel, some of the same little quirks, and honestly, The Doctor I know is over nine hundred years old. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was changing faces somehow. He is an alien.

Vortex Manipulator? Is that a wrist piece?

[thinking hard about his second memory, it's easier to make sense of things when you have specifics]

[Nods.] It is. Apparently complicated to program, but it could skip around two thousand years for sure and bring people with the wearer.

[running through his memory, and finally looking back at Rory]

I had one of those. All Time Agents had one. Not that I could tell you what that means, I just remember it.

I don't remember Time Agent either.

Not even sure where he got it. Maybe from that other woman who was supposed to be with him, maybe?

Though it just says there's more similarities and maybe he really just changes faces.

[still thinking]

Yeah, anything is possible.

Well, there's plenty of people here who can change their appearances.

True. The personality is uncanny.

Even if there's some differences, it's just the same...vibe.

[laughs] Absolutely.

I guess that's why it's hard to not like him.
