What: Putting the finishing touches on Wata's heart

[Welp, it's been a while since a certain noodle's unfortunate heart implosion. He's doing much better now, especially with half of Syaoran's heart in him, but his improvements have plateaued quite a bit. Time for a checkup to see if there's anything else that can be fixed up.

For this reason, Watanuki is lying down on the slab in Lacerta's panic room, eying the others and looking vaguely nervous.]

This isn't going to hurt, is it?

[When you first enter the heart, you find yourself underwater. But rather than the dark, empty waters that were here the last time some of you entered, there is light. Upon breaking the surface, you find yourself inside a ring (http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/9061/watarebootheart.png) of scaffolding and buildings, some more intact (or rebuilt) than others. The northern section is the most intact one, with one major building and two smaller ones glowing softly with internal light; the southern half, however, is still broken in most places. A few empty shells of buildings stand around the edges of the circle, with dead bodies or smashed-up items placed on the scaffolding in front of them; others are simply cordoned off sections of wreckage.

Ter sits on the porch in front of the main intact building, where he is quietly mending a Drifloon toy. And standing on the bridge between him (and thus the rest of the heart, unless you choose to go directly to one of the shattered areas) and you is a young version of Syaoran, his sword sharp and bright in the moonlight.]

[This area actually has a building, although it's been hollowed out and has no floor to speak of. Instead, it leads directly into a gaping maw, which seems to be distinct from the water via a wall of violet scaffolding reaching as far as the eye can see. Watanuki sits on the edge of this maw, unmoving, his hand laid over the handle of a kitchen knife.]

[This area has the ruined remains of what must have been an old-fashioned Japanese building, albeit much smaller in scale. A version of Watanuki in a white kimono lies on the scaffolding next to the ruins, his eyes closed and his hands clasped over his chest.]

[The east block dorm stands empty here. The walls are more or less intact, but an array of projections, like Allen, Syaoran, and Sakura, as well as a couple more ... realistic corpses, such as Lumiere's and Kon's, have been laid out in a line here. The walls look somewhat unstable and echo at the slightest noise.]

[There is no building at all here, only a ring of scaffolding cutting off a section of water from the inner reservoir and the outer sea. There is a substantal quantity of wood here, suitable for building, and it looks as though there's quite a bit of flotsam in the water below.]

[The final area is nothing but a thin ring of scaffolding. The water inside said ring is perfectly still, though it's hard to see the water for the mass of butterflies floating on its surface. Their wings glow violet in the moonlight.]

[as you do your work inside Wata's heart, you can see the fruits of your labors almost immediately. scaffolding falls away into the water as projections resurrect themselves and begin to run their sections of the heart again. buildings recreate themselves. the light from the moon shines brighter and brighter, until it's nearly broad daylight in here.

but as the light increases, so does the shadows. the largest of them lurks unchecked in the reservoir, ready to undo all your hard work.]
