Around the sides of my face. I don't think I'd be able to remove it by pulling without tearing the skin away.

Gross... is it, like, glued there?

[Tilts her head to make it easier. The mask just looks PRETTY FIRMLY STUCK.]

I didn't notice any traces of glue when I first picked it up, and I can't feel any now.

Yeah, I can't see any. We might have to cut it off, or something- or at least cut holes in it so you can see and eat.

All right. I was going to suggest cutting it, anyway—I'd rather not lose any skin unless absolutely necessary.

[tugging a bit of mask away, pinching a bit between his fingers, and cutting the pinched-off bit! We now have A HOLE which is a good start]

[There's a trace of amusement… and she's staying absolutely still, without tensing up.]

[gets a hole big enough to get his fingers through, then starts cutting through the mask with his hand between the KNIFE and your FACE]

You can feel a flutter of eyelashes as she blinks, but other than that, she still isn't moving.]

I hope the edges come free with time, though, because that could get really annoying.
