Yeah. I was worried it might be a while until Ender got a memory with the way things have been going, but it looks like it didn't take too long, thankfully.

We'll have to make sure it doesn't go so long again.

That's nice to say but... is it really always something we can help? Like the voting games.

Even if we can't help it, acting like we can't help it won't do any good.

Oh, that's true. I guess we'll just have to win the ones we can help, then.

That's what I said, isn't it?

Right. So... should we take memories, now?

We have them. Leaving them on the table won't do us much good.

Do you want me to go first? My memories aren't usually anything big.

It's actually a little annoying. I know important things happen, because of that first memory I got but... everything since then hasn't told me anything about it at all.

That just mean you'll probably get a lot of important things at once.

Maybe. Or they could give me one important thing and then a bunch of things like going fishing.

As long as there are new fishing techniques in it, I wouldn't complain.

[laughs]

Well, Palmacosta was a coastal town, but I think they probably used boats and nets for it, mostly. We don't really have boats here, so I'm not sure how much help it would be.

We might be able to make one. We know the mushroom wood floats.

I don't think I'm going to remember anything about building boats... my dad was a fisherman, not a shipwright.

How hard can it be? We'd only have to tie a few pieces together.

It just looks more complicated than that, I guess.

As long as it holds a person, the technique shouldn't matter much.

Anyway, you should take your memory if you want to.
