[nothing really happens there, maybe just a nervous habit. He turns his back to find some paper and something to write with. He finally finds something that will work, and moves to the desk, quickly clattering a few vials, containers, and dried herbs from his sectioned satchel in an organized line along the surface.

Then he starts scrawling instructions for you and your caretakers to follow. Exercises, stretching, preparations for medicine, diet, bedrest and crutch orders...]

I'll leave quickly-- I would stay normally but -- this should be enough to guide you through your recovery.
