Ah, we didn't know it back that, but... because we took those memories in a dream, we could feel that they were somehow connected. Syaoran intended to kill me, but I survived. Even so, Watanuki would have died had we not paid a price to ensure that he did not.

It wasn't equal then.

That's not fair to you, or the rest of the team. I already spoke with him about it... he knows that there is a risk. He just asked that I be as careful as I can. I don't think he wants to see Sakura cry again either.
