[There's a person in gray walking around the new buildings. He seems to be scanning the area around the two buildings, getting his bearings perhaps? Though he looks pretty calm and collected.

Y-Yes.

It seems to be that way for everyone in your color and my color.

Are there other people here?

Yeah. There's a few others in our colors and people in other colors who were like us, but have been around longer.

Their memories came back, then?

They have some, yes.

T-Then I'll... be sure to look for other people wearing my color.

Do you know about partner teams?

N-No. I just got up.

Okay.

According to what I've found out, we have partner teams. People we can cooperate with and help without penalties. People in my color are your partner team.

Why isn't it just one team?

...well...it might be so people don't feel cornered?

To give everyone space?

Sort of. If you cage all the teams into themselves, they have to sink or swim on their own. Doing that breeds desperation if one does badly and then things become unpredictable. So having a partner cuts off that desperation.

At least, that's what I think might be the point in that when they seem determined to have us against each other so much otherwise.

Do we have to fight?

No, I don't think so. Outside of the games, at least. We're just not allowed to receive anything from other teams without it being a trade or a debt.

O-Oh.

That's different with partner teams. We're allowed to help each other out without being required to pay each other back.
