(no subject)

Who: Rory, Lynx, Anyone
Where: The Lynx and Corvus area.
When: Day 145, afternoon
What: Look, some new people!

[There's a person in gray walking around the new buildings. He seems to be scanning the area around the two buildings, getting his bearings perhaps? Though he looks pretty calm and collected.

Bother?]

...that's a pretty big topic. Pick one of those to start with.

The short version: they're gods, the pantheon of this plane, as far as we can tell. They run the Games with our memories as the prize; if we stay long enough, we can ask them for any one thing and have it granted.

That's the question nobody knows the answer to.

*nods*

About...six or seven people, now. It just started happening; it seems as though it takes about a hundred days, give or take.

The amount of effort it would have taken to fake some of what was done is prohibitive.

Not prohibited, prohibitive. Too much effort for too little result; it's inefficient.

Definitely. The ones to watch for at this point are Surgeon, Mirror, Game Master, Haunted and Flowers. Storyteller can go either way, Persona is invasive but not sadistic. The rest usually aren't bad, but you can never trust them completely.

Because saying it can summon him, and he pays attention. It's the same for all of them, but most of them aren't as...active about responding. His attention is something most of us would prefer to avoid.

He's been known to experiment on us. Painfully and invasively. Generally it happens to the losers of his Games, but there's no sense in tempting fate.

He doesn't make a lot of friends, let's say.
