[There's a person in gray walking around the new buildings. He seems to be scanning the area around the two buildings, getting his bearings perhaps? Though he looks pretty calm and collected.

I'd like to know more about the Judges.

... Oh. I don't... really know enough about them, sorry. I've only been in two games so far. But if you have the choice, you should definitely stay away from the judge named Flowers.

Why?

She's... She enjoys making people hurt each other.

The game I was in... everyone had to choose two people to hurt in some way before moving on to the next level and win the game.

... Of course it turned into a free-for-all, since nobody wanted to be the two left behind.

...that would turn into pure chaos.

Any other Judges to be wary of?

The only other game I've been in is one of Gambler's. It was pretty much harmless. From what I can gather, his games involve games of the more literal sort. We had to pick a card, the lowest card one, that sort of thing.

They're that different?

As far as I can discern, yeah.

Is there any warning to games at all?

Sometimes there's a siren call for a game and you can wander over to the arena willingly to participate. Other times, you can just... be summoned there by a judge. Randomly, against your will, in the middle of whatever you were doing.

The only exception is if you're inside your dorm, or so I'm told. That's the only place the judges' power can't penetrate. I was given pretty firm instructions to never open our dorm door unless I know who's outside it first.

Really? [Looks at the dorm.] That's interesting. Why provide us with a place they can't penetrate?

... Everyone needs a sanctuary from time to time, I guess.
