I can fill you in on everything - it'll be a lot information, though. Want me to start with the important stuff first?

Okay, let's see . . .

Anyone in Red is Pyxis - we're teammates, and what the wall says is true - we're your family, etc. Anyone in pink is Cygnus; they're our partner team, but they're practically teammates anyway, with how close we are to them.

This place is called Sabra La Tau - and the tube isn't lying when you say you do this willingly. We all gave up our old lives and memories for some big wish that gets granted when you win. But don't ask me how you win, because no one's figured that out yet.

In the meantime, we play in games to get back memories, which are held by the Judges, against other teams here - there's 12 in all and maybe two more we aren't sure yet.

. . . uh. Any questions so far?

[ohh I like you :O]

That's the basic of it, yeah.

There's one other team in black that don't play games like the rest of us - Ophiuchus, they work for the Judges and kind of suck a lot. Most of 'em are pains the ass, but they give us missions to get stuff so we really can't not deal with 'em. Sometimes they're involved in games, but not very often.

There's a bunch of Judges and I don't think I could name 'em all off the top of my head, but there's a few you should remember and avoid at all costs - Surgeon, Mirror, Trickster, and Game Master. They run the most dangerous games where people can get messed up or killed.

Yeah, experience. We follow it, but only because we have to. And even then . . . [shrugs] It honestly depends on things. But in Games, we don't really have a choice.

I'm not fond of 'em at all, really. Some of 'em are okay, but as a whole I really don't want anything to do with 'em outside of Games.

Uh . . .

Well. If anyone ever knocks on the door? Ask who it is first. Always ask who it is first, and don't open the door until you've confirmed who it is.

And outside of games, they don't really show themselves very often. Foreman was around last night - he's one of the acceptable judges, I guess - and Messenger visits from time to time, so . . . eh.

[makes a face at the "afraid" part]

Not . . . too often. And the guy who usually holds 'em - Trickster, he's . . . I don't know where he is right now. Something happened to him and he's either MIA or dead. . . . which is unlikely, but everyone's got a different theory.

He kind of . . . fell apart into sand.

I don't know, but during the parties for the people who have won, judges show up as sand-shaped people, so . . . [shrugs]

Who the hell knows the truth.

They're statues most of the time, and I wouldn't recommend it, either. As tempting as it can be sometimes.
