What: science experiments and meat! a winning combo!

[Two (slightly bloodied up) boys coming out of the caves after having snuck off at ridiculous o'clock in the morning today -- victorious! They've got themselves a nice little fatty lizard which is floating on home behind them courtesy of some wind magic. Which creates a mini hurricane of wind for anyone nearby when it's released. WHHHOOOOOSH.]

This kind isn't so dangerous. They're big and well-armored, but also slow.

Another kind lives in the caves, though, too. They're smaller, faster, and have sharp teeth and claws. We ran into some of those, as well.

Are you okay?

Mm. It's nothing serious.

[ this is a long measuring look before she nods. ]

I'll look at it after the meat's taken care of. If we leave it out here too long, it will attract squidrats and lizards.

Let me clean this up- [Nods toward the bowl and bloody water and cloth.] -and we can get started. I'll bring a knife for you, too.
