For a while, when I was little, my mother and I were in a laboratory, owned by the Shinra Electric power company. That's the company that owned, well, everything.

It's just -- normal. Not the owning everything, just ... The thought of a power company with an evil lab is kind of odd.

Cetra were people who came before humans. They were nomads, who traveled the Planet, who could hear its voice and called up life wherever they went. But they've all returned to the Planet. I was the last one.
