The way I see it, hunting's a lot like battling, only you guys are doin' it because ya don't want to starve. Ya gotta have quick reflexes and be able to make up strategies to catch stuff! It's really helpful.

Not really. River and Sephiroth use swords, Slick uses whatever he feels like. I fight with Pikachu and the others.

Nope. They can, but they usually just decide to stay in their balls. Don't remember why Pikachu's always out, but I think it's always been like that.
