I'm not yelling! And I care. Maybe this isn't completely useless--I mean, why bother saving such a stupid story?

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
Because someone wanted a goddamn bookmark.

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 10:15 am (UTC)(link)
It did do a pretty good job of reminding me where I was in the story.

[s-sob]

W-well yes, but before it became a bookmark. What if someone had saved it to look back on, and another person stumbled on it, thinking it was a waste of a paper, and turned it into a bookmark?

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 10:20 am (UTC)(link)
Or maybe the original writer realized it was a waste of paper and turned it into one themselves.

[identity profile] lawfulreception.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 10:23 am (UTC)(link)
But I would hope they'd realize that before taking the time to write all this out. . .

I write down a lot of stuff that I think might be useful at the time. Sometimes it just turns out to be useless later. It's dated their 37th day, so they still knew hardly anything compared to us. It makes sense something useless might get recorded then.

[identity profile] lawfulreception.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
That's a good point. . .though there's no way to compare how much they had experienced in those days. Maybe it is useless, but it might still have a little value to us. If it's true I'd really like to know who his wife is.

Well, I do, but that's understandable.

[ tucked away for safe keeping! . . .as a bookmark]

It's nothing anyone's being forced to investigate anyway, so. . .!

[leeet's check on failtiny \o\;;!]

Scowl, Scowl! I have a goat and a book!

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:13 am (UTC)(link)
What the fuck's a goat? And is it a readable book?

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
[PRESENT: Goat]

Think, man! I wouldn't be bragging about it if it weren't!

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
[. . . stares at goat :| THE HELL IS THIS]

Is it a good book?

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't really read much, but I like it so far!

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:36 am (UTC)(link)
[hands over a big honkin' ol' Grimm's Fairy Tales]

I got it from Red. It's so nice to have some classy literature for once!

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:44 am (UTC)(link)
[flips through the first few pages]

. . . It really does look good.

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:51 am (UTC)(link)
What could go better with some fresh goat than some fresh tales? We're havin' us a shindig tonight!

[identity profile] righthandsmoke.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 11:54 am (UTC)(link)
That's a great idea! The others will love this.

[identity profile] crazylikeavulp.insanejournal.com 2010-04-21 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll go on ahead and take this fella home. The book, too!

Make sure to save the skin when you kill it. We can probably make something out of it.
