What: When we last left our intrepid heroes...

[In the arena, there's some decent quality meat burning as a gift to two particular Judges, a comatose member of Hydra and a few guards with torches... and not a whole lot else to explain what's going on.

Well the real interesting part is going on a little deeper anyway.]

[ignores Scowl and picks up the key, eyeing it, then the chain making its way up the table]

Oi, Agito - do you know what this is for?

I haven't been here any more than you bastards have... [Sigh, then a look between it, the box on the memory plate and the door.] It aint for the way out.

[Giving the cage door, a light touch, it swings pretty easily.] So I'd assume it's either for that mess there, or something later.

. . . Tch. Think it's safe to let the box get covered like this?

... The place seems pretty determined to do it.

If you plan on moving it, I'd be ready if I were you.

[eyes the key. eyes the box. eyes the chain]

Should I?

Keep the key. We should check the next room for the true heart before we decide whether or not to use it though.

Fine by me.

[considers, then shrugs and puts the key in his pocket]

[heads over to take a look through the door once ikki's pocketed the key]

[Outside of the cage, you can't make out anything.]

Tch, stupid light . . . [steps through the door >/]

[It's as if you have been transported back to the beginning. You, again, are back at the ocean, with just water, the sky and the lip of the well visible. However, this time the water is calm and still, except for a few whirlpools trying to smooth themselves out. The clouds are breaking up above and birds are being to circle cautiously above.

At the well, a blue eye'd version of Fang is scrubbing at his face with one hand. The other hand is holding down several heavy chains over the lip of the well. He doesn't seem to have managed to lock it up yet.

You can't see what it is, but every now and then, there's a crackle of lightning from it, and a gust of ripping, slicing wind.]

The key, I can't find the key...

. . . Fang? Hey, Fang! Is that you this time?

[doesn't even bother looking around this time, bee-lining it towards the well instead]

[He whips around at the voice.]

Scowl? ... Ikki?

How are you here? It's not the w-

[All of a sudden, whatever Akito has bound up gives another hard YANK, taking advantage of his distraction. At the same time, the wind begins to howl around you again.]

[Cue the other one pushing past both of you, footsteps easily on TOP of the water.] Watch out!

[stumbles a few steps before starting after him] Shit! Ikki, give him the key!

[also starting after him, pulling the key out of his pocket]

Oi, Agito!

[Slows only a little, enough to look back at Ikki.] Throw it!

[The winds are increasing in ferocity again, though the water remains calm and by the well, you can see Akito taking a step back, sheilding his face.]

[already skidding to a stop, and as soon as he sees Agito looking in his direction, he gives the key a good throw towards him]

[CATCH, almost seems to blip out of sight for a moment, to reappear at the other's side, kneeling to take care of the first of the lock.]

Agito...

[Starts pulling harder, dragging more of the chains over the metal grating at the top of the well. Then looks back up at Hydra and Ikki.] That side! Please!

[immediately moving to the other side, grabbing and dragging the chains over the grate as well] Like this?
