What: When we last left our intrepid heroes...

[In the arena, there's some decent quality meat burning as a gift to two particular Judges, a comatose member of Hydra and a few guards with torches... and not a whole lot else to explain what's going on.

Well the real interesting part is going on a little deeper anyway.]

[A Deathbunny is sitting on the table, occasionally eating a plate and watching you all. She focuses back on Ikki warily.]

[Though as Thorfinn touches pats her, for a split second, you see, feel and hear with perfect clarify, the perspective of someone weaving a makeshift nest of weeds for a spotted green egg, a flash to a retarded argument with Scowl over gender and species... And being happy with what she was ANYWAY. Pretending to be asleep while Gallows takes a bite of the bedpost. It's not spoiling, it's just. More comfortable where you already are... That moment after the game, with the mangled fish that she actually DOES give a damn about you and the team past a source of food...

... And the game ends.]

[Then it's faint... you might actually have just imagined it... a familiar voice and two very different tones.]

"It didn't mean much, did it? Just another game."
"..."
"You don't even know if it really existed."
"She."
"..."
"I don't regret it. In fact, I hope she HAS eaten that Judge by now."

[And then everything seems to return to normal.]

[While you're all discussing the sudden visions of the deathbunny, the other half of the group is returning in a somewhat anxious rush. All three of them look fairly thoroughly bloodstained from about the knee down, a few crimson trails drifting around them as they wade through the cleaner water.]

[The room is almost exactly like Fang usually leaves it. It is somewhat sparse, like most Blank's rooms are, though he seems to have gone out of his way to give it little personalized touches. On the table are a pair of Blade's long bone knives, and one of Scowl's throwing knives, and some changes of clothing: A Hydra uniform, a Kogarasumaru uniform... and an orange straight jacket. Carefully set beside them is a long, battered crow feather, and a fluffy pink feather (that occasionally crackles with a distinct static charge.)

A crude, but accurate sketch of some badass A-T are pinned up on the wall. ... So is a shadow, independent of ANYONE in the room.

The water is chest deep here but clear. There is a spot by the far wall that the water is a deeper blue than any others.]

[Gives the deathbunny a fond scratch behind the ears before following the group into Fang's room, pausing in startled surprise at the ownerless shadow.] That's really important enough . . . ?

[There's a detail off here, or there, on the uniform, but for the most part, it's almost exactly how you remember it.

The Hydra uniform is standard, but sewn and mended in various places, with increasing skill.

The straightjacket is a perfect replica of the one Akito and Agito were in when Ikki first met him. Long sleeved and heavy canvas, it's a bright orange, and built to be secure, not just for show. It has an unusual hood, with a face mask built in, in front.]
