Yeah... I get that. Just telling yourself "This ain't home, the rules're different" just don't always help.

It's completely different but it feels just like...

I fight monsters called akuma. Our enemy, the Millennium Earl makes them by... Once someone dies, he appears to their closest relatives and asks if they want to bring them back. And then he binds their soul to an akuma's body, and has them kill the one that called for them and wear their skin so they can hide amongst humans. Resurrection has always been... It's scary, thinking about that power and it being used on us, on me...

No, I get what that's... my world. We got demons. Kinda like those akuma, but they claw their way up from Hell and hop rides in people's bodies. Make them do nasty, terrible things. Some demons... they make bargains with people like that.

What's dead should stay dead. It's not natural...

But it's not this same in this place. You're not a monster. You're still you.

Even if it's hard living without them, bringing someone back only causes more trouble, it's pain for everyone around them... But I'm so glad we're not dead. It's against everything I've ever learned, when someone dies at the Order we burn the body and don't even tell their families to prevent another akuma being created, but... I'm so glad.

I've seen... I've seen everyone come back from after dying in a game, and I've seen revivals before, but... This is the first time I've seen anyone on the team actually die and be unable to do anything, it's the first time I've died...

I've been collecting dormstone, from the abandoned dorms. Mitsuru on Orion can make cloaks from them that will hide our presence from the Judges. I... I'm going to see him soon, about getting it made, so we can look for more keystones.

But work on that. Dagger said he wanted to get that mission to get us items... did he ask you what you wanted?

Not sure if getting more bullets will help anyone, really. But I don't think they'd give me the arsenal that was in the trunk of my car before I got here.

Holy water, knives with silver plating, hex bags to ward off demons wooden stakes, fake IDs, larger guns... all sorts.

Different weapons for different enemies, is it? What are hex bags?

Right.

They're hoodoo--I think. Kinda fuzzy on the details, but basically they can stop demons from tracking you if you have them. Or put them in the corners of a room.

Course, there can be bad ones, more the voodoo type, aimed to hurt people.

Depends what you put in the bags.
