Someone on Ophiuchus had... an ancient something affecting her mind, and it overwhelmed her. She snapped and went out torturing people. She knows about it now, so it shouldn't happen again...

Something from her world. An influence tied to her powers, and far older than hers. I didn't really understand anything beyond that about it.

I'm glad it's stopped. And that you're healing well.

It's not entirely "stopped," she's just aware of it now, and has a plan to keep it under control the next time it tries to take over. Which will have to do for now, I guess.

Akin came over to help with the healing. It's a lot better now than it would have been otherwise.

He really is amazing.

How is everyone on Canis doing?

Sion was hurt too, but the rest of them are fine. Jace stopped by to keep me company while I was stuck in here, and I was over there to visit them and pay them back for Akin's healing yesterday.

I'm glad. Even before . . . I haven't really talked to any of them in a long time.

I was a vampire and Canis really, really really didn't like people who ate other people the game before I became that way. So much so that there wasn't any middle ground, or room for mercy.

But, Edward . . . that's not hating. That's being scared. For my team, and Sunny . . . and for myself.

Sometimes... it can have the same results. And I guess what I was told wasn't that you "hated" them exactly, but that you didn't want anything to do with them.
