Oooooi. Won't the good little detective come out to play?

Sorry, I thought you had that fixed. So, north and south of the dorms...I'm not sure if that tells us much.

I'm working on it. Started taking a remedy for it today. I can see light and dark right now, just not much for shapes or colors yet.

Not sure, either. But how close to the edges of our living areas are they?

Not far at all. Certainly not right outside the dorms yet, but it may only be a matter of time.

Possibly. The question is whether it's distance or whether it's just choosing people, at moments when they're alone.

... I was surrounded by Cepheus. That's hardly alone.

Unless you mean like... when I'm away from my team, alone.

Good question. Lucky was close to Dawn, but she wasn't in much condition to hear anything.

... I don't think anyone else did. No one else said anything... I tried to keep my responses short. Like I was talking to myself.

That is odd, to say the least. It does prove, at least, that it was meant specifically for your ears.

And it didn't distinguish between Dawn speaking and projecting.

Probably because Dawn has her bracer down a lot. I don't make it a habit, you know that.

No, I mean it didn't project to her when she projected at it. That's interesting, though I don't know what we can make of it.

It doesn't distinguish. I'm starting to think trying to identify it isn't going to be profitable for us, though.

Though, here's a clue. Something else it said to me, when I asked who it was that was in danger: "It is dangerous to say. You are a clever one, though. You can figure it out."

So clearly, one of the ones that knows me well enough to say something complimentary. Or at least something to feed my ego if they thought that would work during a time like this.

...it isn't exactly hard to realize that feeding one's ego might garner a positive reaction, though.

Still, it knows us well enough to know who to warn.

And the right buttons to press to get us to act.

Which doesn't tell us anything, really. Any of the beings here would have had plenty of time to observe us.
