Game 140
Who: Anyone
Where: The Arena
When: Day 229, noonish
What: [On the throne today is a smiling youth, face ringed by black curls. He has a harp-like instrument in his lap and a pen behind his ear. It's been a while since any have seen him, but, perhaps, to the oldest and most keen observers here, he seems perhaps a touch thinner than last time. The Arena is not terribly decorated for his appearance, indeed, if not for the statue sitting there, one would not be sure this was really a call at all.]
Good afternoon, duckies, good afternoon! Who's ready for some wholesome (and platonic!) self-exploration and completely non-fatal fun, hmm? I know I certainly am. Yes, I'm sure you've all been having just unbearable amounts of fun, but you know, let's just- . . .
[clears his throat]
Ahem. Sorry, I was saying, let's just slow it down. Maybe, oh, I don't know, talk about our feelings a while.
((Technically, yes, this is a loser game, but anyone can play.))

Re: [MONOCEROS]
Re: [MONOCEROS]
You're a good leader. As bad as the reputations for Hydra and Vulpecula can get, you take care of your teams and know how to survive here. However, I do think you should be a bit less abrasive when you talk to people. It comes off the wrong way and well, there's a reason why some people refer to Hydra as "angry." As you say, your attitude really pisses people off.
Re: [MONOCEROS]
[makes a "gimme" motion at his hand :|]
Re: [MONOCEROS]
What's the point in acting the way everyone thinks? You're just justifying their opinion, which is false one. Everyone should take the time to get to know everyone for who they really are, I know, but that's not how it always goes in the real world. And also maaaybe you wouldn't be so pissed off at them if you took a first step to being nicer. Someone has to.
Re: [MONOCEROS]
I've tried it before, idiot. It doesn't work.
Re: [MONOCEROS]
.......you have to try it more than once. And on different people. Admittedly SOME people just will not get along whatever you do, but that isn't any reason to quit and be jerk-like to everyone else.
Re: [MONOCEROS]
Re: [MONOCEROS]
Calm down. It just seems like a really negative thing to accept. I mean, I've accepted that Monoceros is generally forgettable, but that doesn't really affect how we act. But for you, that's something. . .a bit sour. It'd drive me crazy thinking people hated me every day.
Re: [MONOCEROS]
Re: [MONOCEROS]
. . .
Haaa. If I had to describe you on the spot, I'd probably call you an asshole, but also someone who's smart, knows how things work, and is generally a good person that can get the job done. I may not like your attitude at times, but I do. . .er, respect you. So. Maybe that's how it is for others?
