What: An experiment, and learning the new game system

[Dragging a bed out into the common room one-handed isn't exactly easy, and Mitsuru isn't particularly strong, but by icing the floor to help slide it, it is a thing that is getting (very slowly) done.]

[When he's finished with that, he is clearing everything out of his room from the floor, taking down the wallshelves from that solo mission, and moving those out, too.]

Maybe work tables? Paper dries better if you press it against a hard surface, and you could use something that isn't the kitchen table for dealing with some of those herbs.

I was also thinking about an exterior storage space. Probably just like a lean-to.

And make sure the bathroom has a bath in it. That way, you won't have to use the public one.

[nods, adding that, and then after a moments pause, oven.]

Might as well try to fit it all in, even if it won't be there for long...

I think that's all we really need.

Right. And then we have to decide if this is going to be two storied or one story.

One's always been good enough before.

One's nice, but I was thinking a change would be nice. And we don't know how the next block is going to turn out in terms of what's in there, do we? At the very least, I was thinking about putting in stairs to the top, and a garden, so we don't have to do the replanting again.

A garden on the roof?

...that might be a good idea. At least that way, if there's a problem with water, the plants will be out of the way.

I used to have a balcony one, I'm pretty sure we could manage baskets or buckets for this. I'd prefer to keep the main garden below, though.

Two gardens? If we have the soil for it, I don't see why not.

If we're going to have two stories, though, we need to have some beds on the first floor. If someone's injured, I don't want to have to drag them upstairs.

Right. If we have the kitchen, the bathroom and the storeroom downstairs, that's three rooms, plus the common area. We could put two or three rooms down here and then the rest upstairs. We could probably ditch the walls on the workroom and the kitchen, leave it open plan if we like the way it feels in the dorm now.

As long as one of those rooms has a bed, I don't care what's down there.

Just keep in mind- we need to make this with that bread and candy.

Less interior walls, lots of angles, pray for some really good icing. Check.

[Opens his only remaining hand, in an I-no-longer-have-the-manual-dexterity-for-this sort of motion.]

No. I can do that much. But if you want, you can come with me. We can find one of them who isn't a complete malicious asshole.

Somehow I doubt we'll be so lucky.

Well, maybe we'll at least be lucky enough to find one that isn't a taker.
