(no subject)

Who: Lyvus and visitors
Where: Just outside the dorms
When: Day 189, night
What: Downtime and getting chloroformed apparently

[Night is sitting outside of Corvus, making more needles out of bone. He's improved at bone carving, and is working on a fair variety -- mostly small and straight, but a few curved and one or two longer. Just chillin'.]

About that... I was wondering if you could assist me with a little something.

Could you read something for me?

[hands you a small slip of paper folded in the middle. If you open it, the handwriting is neat, but very small.]

[Yeah, that note is doused with chloroform]

The thing is, your team seems to have broken a rule, and I really need to punish someone. But I'd like it to be as painless as possible for both parties.

Sorry Night, but Bond's been a naughty boy.

[Waits to see if he's fully unconscious yet.]

Eh... [checks his watch...]

Close enough.

[sets a small box on the ground and... ]

...

[leans in and moves his arms and legs in a more seductive pose]

[Takes a photo for Queen.]

... Right, back to work.

[Tugs the box open and pulls out a fairly long, but frozen snake.

Sticks that under Yoi-te's shirt, then pats his cheek gently.]

As long as you don't make any sudden movements, it'll be alright.

[Then takes the note with the poem and places it right on his chest.

The note reads:

One winter a Farmer found a Snake stiff and frozen with cold. He had compassion on it, and taking it up, placed it in his bosom. The Snake was quickly revived by the warmth, and resuming its natural instincts, bit its benefactor, inflicting on him a mortal wound. "Oh," cried the Farmer with his last breath, "I am rightly served for pitying a scoundrel."

PS: Snake's not poisonous.

If you survive this ordeal alright, come see me.

[Nah, I think I'll take my chances.

Tidies up a bit, moving his needles away from kicking/accidental stabbing distance, then leaves]
