You mean you think he'd infect someone he knew over someone he didn't? Isn't that a little. . .

Not everyone would do that though, I... don't think if I was on my way out, I'd want to put someone in that situation just because I liked him.

So if you're the infected, you'd pick someone you dislike?

No, I mean... I didn't really think about it. But I'd pick someone I thought could win, like Scowl said.

Did Masamune actually seem like the type to work with anyone? You're basing his choices off what you would do.

Idiot. What if you're infected and go out? You wanna leave behind a guy who can win for you. Anyone would do it.

Who you work with, who you know, has nothing to do with who can win for you. Because they aren't winning for you, they're winning for themselves. I'm a good option because I'm smart, and a bad option because it's obvious. Cygnus may not have intelligence, though he's probably ahead of Monoceros in that regard, but he can keep his head down and do nothing and avoid suspicion.

You're clearly abrasive and not particularly independent. It's not much of a surprise you'd think to infect someone you know. But trust in this game doesn't come from alliances, it comes from necessity. Once you're infected, regardless of who you are and who infected you, you play to win.

Considering the way things are going, Cygnus would be a better option than me. You notice he's doing nothing, but still less suspicious than me.

It wasn't obvious at all til you got paired with useless morons in a clue. That defense is shit. Anyone picking you wouldn't know that when they did it.

Like I told that girl, it's only better if the guy infecting you was smart enough to know it. I don't think he was.

In case you haven't noticed, the only people who have been particularly active as of late are me, you, and the Cepheus member. The Lacerta girl has been around sparingly, and is suffering hallucinations half the time. Cygnus, Pyxis, Delphinus and Monoceros have barely spoken.

Maybe you're just not that observant, but it's been obvious since the beginning of this game that there are two groups: those keeping up, and those dragging along. And that much would be obvious to anyone considering who to bring to their side. Just as much as the fact that my personality makes me suspicious would be obvious to anyone choosing me. If I was picked, they risked my attitude against my intelligence. If Cygnus was picked, they risked his activity against his unobstructive nature.

Considering that Canis himself preferred to stay on the sidelines, why not choose someone more his own nature? Much as you seem to think that the only obvious choice would be someone who plays the game you want it to be played.

Maybe he would, but I don't think so. No one I talk to thinks Cloud's off. I don't think Cloud's off. It leaves you or Monoceros. If he went that way, he must've picked them instead.

I've said it was Monoceros from the beginning. I'll point out why it could be him to save myself, but I haven't particularly thought so. His behavior is consistent, and so is mine. But I have no interest in losing this game because again two uninfected were put up.

Between you and Monoceros, it's someone who's even-headed and distant and not afraid to be accusatory, versus a team that hasn't said much where everyone can see. You're the one who decided you were the "obvious" choice. To me it's not obvious at all.

I didn't have much to add. And since I'm a useless moron regardless of talking or not talking, I rather be a useless moron who stays out the way unless it's important.

So I haven't been around much.

. . .It's important now. Besides him talking about how smart he is and you talking about how stupid you are. . . neither of those things matter, the important thing is everyone who's not infected be able to tell who is infected.

I would be most suspicious of myself. I have been visible, assertive, and active. It's one thing to say there are perfectly good reasons to choose you, but if not for the clue I wouldn't be able to pick you out of the pile of others doing little to draw attention to yourselves.

. . . It's a mistake to brush together the people that don't say much as one group. It doesn't make you more or less anything, when there aren't any facts. Just someone who talks a lot.

All your qualities aside. . . you called Monoceros out while you were up against me, saying they'd changed their behavior for not bringing up a clue that proved you innocent. That got everyone's attention. But then they pointed out that the clue was useless as soon as someone else was infected. Wouldn't you know that?
