*The new blank has promptly confiscated the largest knife he can find, and his holding it with a fair amount of confidence for someone who has no memory of how to use it. It is not time to systematically check all the other rooms in the dorms. He pushes the doors open quietly, and seems quite prepared to stab anyone if necessary.

And, for those who can see such things, there is a small ghost child floating behind him*

The only thing I'd add is that the caves become far more treacherous the farther you get from the dorms. If for whatever reason you need to explore beyond the lake, do not leave without some defense, and absolutely do not leave without accompaniment.
