[There's a person in gray walking around the new buildings. He seems to be scanning the area around the two buildings, getting his bearings perhaps? Though he looks pretty calm and collected.

The name of my team. Everyone's put on teams here, with different names and colors.

[looking over at Rory]

Then he and I are on the same team. What's ours called?

. . . good question. It should be on your door . . .

How many teams are there?

Originally twelve, with one team that works for the Judges.

But uh . . . I guess you can up that to fourteen now. Congrats, your team is brand-spankin' new.

Fourteen... then that other team is new, too?

Yep. Your dorms were just built, too.

Is there a reason why they made new teams?

I have no idea.

That seems strange.

[shrugs]

A lot of things are strange here. Eventually you and the other guy'll have four other teammates waking up, too.

Without memories... So we'll have to tell them what we know about this place, like you all are.

Exactly.

Is there anything more I should know?

What all have you heard so far, aside from me?

That the Judges run the games, we have to win games to earn memories, and there's a possibility of "winning" and getting our wish. I've heard about partners teams, as well.

That's the basics of it, yeah. And winning isn't a possibility, it's happened before - my teammate Tavi was the first one to do it.

How long did it take...?

. . . well. See, that's the catch. No one knows. Tavi was first, then two people from our partner team Cygnus, then a bunch of others.

Someone who won, Carly, from Orion? She got here the same time I did. So we don't know why or how people win yet. It's all a goddamn mystery.

... A lot of this places seems like a mystery.
