[Orion's youngest members are both out in the garden this morning, a few smudges of dirt already present here and there. At the moment Carly's kneeling by a few open holes in a recently worked patch of earth holding a large potato as she talks.]

We can cut this up into a few smaller pieces to grow more than one plant from it. If we keep saving one from each plant to use as seed, it'll help grow the garden without so much foraging.

[Vash is over by the river, once again doing laundry. Though this time he has access to slightly better tools. Namely a washboard, basin, and some sort of white powder that foams up in the water. The answer to why maaaay be in that instead of doing green laundry, he is most definitely vigorously washing some black sets of clothing.
