You know him better than I do, Walker. But I cannot say with honesty that I believe the perceptions of he and his team are not warped to exaggerate enmity in others... None-the-less, I will keep that in mind.

Yeah, I won't speak up for that dog of his. But Scowl... He's an idiot, and he jumps to conclusions sometimes, but he wouldn't tell me something like that just to get me on his side. And he hadn't told me, because I'm their partner. And Jace... was beyond furious in that Wolf game.

And while they were talking today, Jace sniped at Scowl that he was the one who "started" it. So... that says a lot of things but it definitely admits retaliation.

[Long sigh out]

I think this is between their teams to deal with. We can only hope they don't intend to continue in this vein.

I'm pissed off. Scowl really wanted revenge after that Wolf game, which you'd "expect from him," right? But he calmed down. He calmed down and let go. He never went after your team.

But Jace turned around and did something like that to him. And because he's supposed to be rational, it's "hard to believe." And because Jace has such a righteous viewpoint, he probably didn't even think it was much of a crime, messing with the likes of Hydra and Vulpecula like that.

I don't like that kind of crap.

. . . I'm afraid my sympathy is limited in this case. It's admirable that Scowl did not pursue revenge against us, but Delphinus isn't relevant to relations between Canis and Hydra. To point to this and say "he didn't, but he did," will only serve to frustrate you. There's no use in being angry on his behalf.

Perhaps next time someone will have the opportunity to talk Jace out of any rash actions.

But you're right, it doesn't have anything to do with Canis and Hydra. Seems like they're both just rotten to each other...

That Rainbow. . . He's had his tail between his legs in Hydra forever. What a bad time to surface. Hydra is spiteful and grudging, but not cruel like that... I know Scowl well enough to know he can't have come up with it. . .

Wish Jace hadn't done something dirty. Wish Hydra hadn't clapped. Ain't like I don't understand being glad a monster is gone. Just not helpin' nothing bein' stupid and cruel like that.

Since before that game Geddoe had been hoping to form an alliance of teams, to set our own rules for helping others and to make it possible to officially settle disputes...

. . .That's a little . . . that won't work. Too much changes game per game. I mean... Jace isn't a monster. Neither is Scowl. They didn't even always fight like this. But I don't want those two trying to officially settle anything right now.

It's not a bad idea, but it's... a bad idea.

[sigh] It's idealistic, and hinges on everyone understanding that it's to each team's benefit if we work together as a community.

And everyone always being forgiving enough of everything... people not being afraid, paranoid...

He is a man of that sort of fortitude, and was used to working with a team who already understood his ideals, so automatically his focus is outward. Unfortunately it seems stubbornness, rather than idealism, is Delphinus' strong suit...

By Geddoe's understanding he is and has been putting his team first with his work, but the others are finding it hard to believe so. There have been several arguments on the matter.

... After the wolf game there was a rather large confrontation about it which I was unfortunate enough not to have sorted out the details of until much later. Since then Geddoe has shut himself away from the rest of the team. Neither side seems particularly interested in hearing the other out.
